Ed Champagne has specialized in weddings for 25 years and has
personally photographed over 700 weddings. Last year alone, he took
12,000 wedding images!
Ed enjoys working with the bride and groom on the wedding day, both as
a photographer and someone who can be counted to help the day go
smoothly.
Blending in with the crowd and being as unobtrusive as possible,
allowing the day to unfold comfortably and as planned is the aim of
Champagne Photography.
We also aim for 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not completely
satisfied with your finished product, we will do whatever it takes to
correct potential problems. |

What should be the criteria for finding the
right wedding photographer? |
|
|
It is important to choose someone you like and with whom you are
completely at ease. You will be spending most of your wedding day with
them and the connection you make with the photographer will come
through in your images.
You should find an experienced photographer whose work you connect
with and love. They should be well versed and adept in their style. We
always say that you should love the photographer and their work (and
reserve them as soon as possible). |

How may I place a print order from a wedding? |
|
|
You may either
phone in your reprint order to us using the image numbers at
802.865.2804 or e-mail us at
ed@champagnephotography.com. Family and friends of our clients
are welcome to place print orders from your wedding. |

Do you photograph traditional
group shots? Should I provide you with a list of important
photographs? |

Unless you request otherwise, we do photograph
the standard groups of the wedding party, family and bride & groom.
It's an important part of recording your family history at your
wedding. But it is just a small portion. We work quickly and can get
it done in a short amount of time when it's well organized. You may
wish to designate someone to gather people. We will not go up to pose
everyone, just give a little direction if needed.
We do not need a long list of "must have" photographs. But we would
like you to specify anything special that you want, which may include
you with someone you are especially close to (that is not in the
wedding party or immediate family). Of course we like to know
about anything unusual or unique to your wedding.
The traditional
wedding group shots take approximately 45 min to 1 hour. We like to
take those photographs following the ceremony or after the receiving
line. Any additional group photographs take an average of about 4
minutes per group.

How far advanced are you
booked? How do we book you? |
|
|
Certain times of the year book out a year in
advance. Also, particular dates are more popular than others. We
photograph a select number of weddings a year in order to maintain a
high level of service and deliver the photographs in a few short
weeks. A retainer fee of $400 will be required to secure your date and
will be applied towards your balance. At the time of booking us, we
will send you our contract. We accept cash, check, and
Visa/MasterCard. The rest of the balance is due 10 days before the
wedding. |

Do you offer gift
certificates? |
|
|
Yes, we do. You can purchase a portrait or
engagement session or choose a wedding package to give as a gift to
the bride and groom. Please call or fill out our Order Form. We
will mail you the gift certificate boxed with a ribbon or we can
ship directly to whom you wish to give your gift. |
